Designed by John Browning and cambered in .45 APC this iconic pistol was originally produced by the Colt Firearms Company. It was formally adopted by the US Army on March 29, 1911, when it was designated the M1911. During WWII about 1.9 million units were procured by the U.S. Government with production being undertaken by several manufacturers, including Remington.
This is a CO² powered, semi-automatic, 4.5mm BB air pistol with a blow-back action that closely resembles the current Remington 1911 R1 Enhanced but with a more tactical feel. True to the original it even has the integral safety catch in the grip.
