Terms of service

Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy from ronniesunshines.com, by phone, or for delivery. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

Ronnie Sunshines Ltd, 4 Canalside, Northbridge Road, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire HP4 1EG.

  • Company number: 07759111, registered in England and Wales
  • VAT number: GB120183463
  • Phone: 01442 872829
  • Email: sales@ronniesunshines.com

2. Using our website

Please use our website lawfully. Do not copy our content, images or prices for commercial use without our written permission, and do not try to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site.

You must be 18 or over to buy, collect or receive an airgun, pellets, knives, bladed items or gas canisters from us. UK law requires us to hand over air weapons face to face, so we only supply them:

  1. in person at our Berkhamsted shop,
  2. by our Weekend Home Delivery team, to the person named on the order, or
  3. through a Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD).

We check photo ID, such as a driving licence or passport, at handover. We refuse to hand over any restricted item if the person cannot prove they are 18 or over, or is not the person named on the order. If this happens, we cancel the order and refund you, less any delivery or RFD costs already incurred.

You are responsible for owning and using any air weapon lawfully. Air weapons over 12 ft-lbs (rifles) or 6 ft-lbs (pistols) need a Firearms Certificate. In Scotland, you need an Air Weapon Certificate for any air weapon. We may ask to see a certificate before we supply.

4. Products and prices

We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Colours on screen and some finishes may vary slightly. Pre-owned items are sold in the condition described in the listing.

All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. If we list an item at an obviously wrong price, we will contact you before dispatch, and you can choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Your order

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch the item or tell you it is ready to collect. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, we cannot verify your age or identity, or we suspect fraud. If we decline, we refund any payment in full.

6. Payment and finance

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Finance and pay-later options, such as PayPal Pay in 3 and Payl8r, are provided by those companies under their own terms and credit checks.

7. Delivery and collection

Delivery options, costs and timings are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you when you, or someone you nominate, take possession of them.

8. Cancellations, returns and faulty goods

Your rights to cancel an online order, return an item, and claim for faulty goods are set out in our Return and Refund Policy.

9. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to keep to these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or negligence. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses, as our products are for domestic and private use.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breaching your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by misuse, unsafe or unlawful use, or failing to follow the manufacturer's instructions.

10. Your personal information

We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

11. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier failures, severe weather or supplier shortages. We will tell you as soon as we can and offer a refund if the delay is long.

12. Complaints and disputes

If you have a problem, email sales@ronniesunshines.com or call 01442 872829 and we will try to resolve it quickly.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order applies to that order.
