The Hills Pump MK5 is the latest generation of the Sheffield-made pump most airgunners regard as the best available. Hill redesigned the internals to make the MK5 around 20 percent easier to pump while keeping the highest volume output, so each stroke moves more air with less effort, up to a 300 BAR maximum fill.

Field servicing takes minutes with basic tools, the new hose is longer and more flexible with a 1/8″ BSP connection, and every pump carries the Hill warranty. To estimate strokes for your rifle, Hill supplies a formula: end pressure minus starting pressure (in BAR), multiplied by cylinder capacity (in litres), divided by 0.225. A 200cc rifle topped from 150 to 200 BAR needs roughly 44 full strokes. The Dry-Pac system adds on later if you want it.
