The Crosman 2240, Ratcatcher 1/2" UNF Silencer Adaptor converts the plain barrel of a Crosman Ratcatcher into a standard ½ inch UNF thread, so you can fit any female half inch UNF silencer. It slides over the 11.05mm end section of the barrel and locks solid with a grub screw. It is the simplest route to serious suppression on one of the UK's favourite budget CO2 guns.

This adaptor suits Ratcatcher, King Ratcatcher and 2240 pistol owners who want a quieter gun using off-the-shelf moderators. The grub screw fastens with the supplied Allen key, so fitting takes a couple of minutes with no permanent changes to the gun. Because the adaptor clamps rather than threads onto the barrel, the gun returns to standard in minutes if you ever sell it on.
