The BSA Lightning GRT XL SE elevates the renowned Supersport format with a nitrogen gas ram in place of the spring, a true carbine barrel and BSA's Volumetric silencer, which cuts muzzle blast dramatically while doubling as a comfortable cocking grip. The gas ram fires without vibration, holds its charge while cocked and outlasts a metal spring.
The Maxi-Grip scope rail uses a patented rubber-mounted shock absorption system for secure, stable scope positioning, and the new two-stage trigger breaks crisply with minimal effort. The redesigned stock carries chequering on the fore-end and pistol grip with a smooth rubberised black finish and a ventilated butt pad. Hunters and professional pest controllers made the Lightning a favourite worldwide, and the cold hammer-forged BSA barrel shows why.
