The Remington 1911 R1 Tactical is a CO2 blowback replica closely resembling the current Remington R1 Enhanced with a more tactical edge. A steel frame carries a Picatinny accessory rail for lights and lasers, and true to the original it keeps the integral grip safety. The rail distinguishes it from period 1911 replicas, ready for a compact light or laser.

An 18-round drop-out magazine feeds the semi-auto blowback action, and at 930g and 210mm the pistol handles with genuine 1911 authority. The design honours the wartime heritage of Remington-built M1911s, of which around 1.9 million were procured during WWII.
