The Tier One FTR Bipod Thumb Wheel replaces the lever connector supplied with the Tier One FTR adapters. The standard lever works, but the small cam needs a firm hand and a fingernail to release. This wheel swaps in its place and gives you a wide, lobed grip to turn with the whole hand, so the Tier One FTR Bipod goes on and comes off the rifle in seconds.
The wheel suits benchrest and F-Class shooters who move one bipod between rifles or strip the rifle down for the case after every session. Fit takes a moment: remove the lever, thread the wheel on, tighten by hand. No tools, no spanner, no adjustment to the adapter itself.
