The Umarex Walther CP99 is the licensed pellet replica of the Walther P99 used by German and Polish police and Finnish special forces. It fires .177 lead pellets from 8-shot rotary magazines, with two supplied, through a semi-automatic CO2 action.

A metal top slide over the polymer frame, single or double action trigger, Picatinny rail and manual safety complete a pistol that has been a benchmark trainer and plinker for two decades. It measures 180mm and weighs 702g. Sub-6 ft/lbs CO2 pistols need no licence in England and Wales, with sales restricted to over-18s. Two decades of production have made spares, magazines and holsters cheap and universally available, a real ownership advantage.
