To compete well in Hunter Field Target (HFT) your rifle will need to produce consistent accuracy out to 50m. The Air Arms HFT-500, as it's name suggests, has that one goal in mind. It's a dedicated, specialist, capable of putting you in contention, all you have to do is bring the talent.
Developed from the Air Arms S510, the HFT 500 has the same side-lever cocking action and balanced firing valve, which has been proven to metre out power with amazing consistency. The difference is in the time and care spent assembling each and every one at the factory. The HFT also has single shot breech which is wide enough to allow the correct loading of every valuable pellet. The S510's Lothar Walther barrel has been replaced by a 'match' grade unit (developed to Air Arms specification) which has also been fitted with an air stripper. The air cylinder has also been extended for greater shot capacity (approx 90) which produces a longer, flatter 'sweet spot'.
The (ambidextrous) fully-adjustable laminate stock and butt plate provides optimum stability, balance and allows a customisable fit for optimum contact between shooter and rifle. This means you're in complete control, in every possible shooting stance. A dedicated palm rest / hamster is also available.
Finally, a precision, position-variable, match trigger completes the HFT-500's ergonomics and it provides superb control, allowing you to fine tune it's release.
